At Nana's house, we got to keep our annual tradition of making Christmas cookies. Yum!

Santa visited Chris a little early this year. It wouldn't fit in the stocking, so he had to leave it in the driveway.

Thanksgiving was fun at our house this year. The kids made pilgrim hats and pulled the wishbone. Everyone ate some delicious food and enjoyed each other's company.

On Sunday, we celbrated Samantha's 6th birthday. (Her birthday is actually the 30th.) We had cake and ice cream, and Samantha got several very nice gifts. She even let Alex and Megan help her open her presents. So polite!

We just returned from a wonderful long weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN with our friends Josh and Missy Dasher. Great food, great friends, great fun...

Megan is now a third grader, and third graders have PROJECTS. It was a fun experience, though. We all had a good time working together.

Mrs. Reid has arrived! She is officially a new 4th grade teacher! The kids and I are very, very proud of her.

We can't believe we have two kids in school now! Samantha and Megan have begun their year for Kindergarten and 3rd grade.

We've learned we can make fresh salsa straight from our garden. It is good, this salsa, ...we are pleased.

Megan turned 8 on July 13. She's such a big girl now!
