For Samantha's 8th birthday, we had a "pretend" sleepover. All her friends came dressed in their pajamas. They drank hot chocolate and watched a movie, and everyone went home before bedtime!

We visited Knoxville Zoo recently and took Aubrey Harrison with us. The kids really had a great day.

While camping at Round Mountain, we drove along a windy gravel road and crossed the NC state line. We found Max Patch, a "bald" mountain top that used to be a livestock farm. Now, it's part of the Pisgah National Forest.

This is the only year that Megan (5th), Samantha (2nd), and Alex (K) will all be with Dad at the same school.

Our Michigan vacation was very relaxing and restful, even though we did several things. Lake swimming, picnicking, golfing, a petting farm, Kung Fu Panda, shopping, visiting relatives, and a bonfire... wow!

The kids have been having lots of fun in their new pool. It keeps them busy almost daily.

We took Angela to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga for her birthday. Later, we ate lunch at "The Mellow Mushroom". Yum, Angela! Artichoke pizza!
