The kids in their Easter outfits. Thanks, Grandma Fern!

Making Easter story cookies. They didn't really rise like they were supposed to, but it was fun nonetheless.

The annual dying of the eggs...poor eggs.

We're back from an amazingly relaxing weekend in Pigeon Forge. Our cabin was so quiet and peaceful. We kept a fire going in the fireplace and read books as we cozied up on the couch. We took a trip over to Gatlinburg and bought some caramel apples. We visited the outlet mall in Pigeon Forge and played three games of mini-golf at Old MacDonald's Farm. Now, we're back home to begin our week of Spring Break! Nice...

Today we shopped at CVS and Walgreens. We bought a total of $54.95 worth of stuff for $3.84. We also received $12 in "Register Rewards" and "Extra Care Bucks" to spend at the stores next week.

We bought all of this at CVS for $2.93. That's a $28.56 savings off the original prices. CVS-ing is pretty cool.

I had the great honor of keeping my 3 year old neice and 2 five month old nephews while my brother and sister-n-law went to Mexico for 4 days. Kendall is helping me do laundry. I truely loved having them here. I enjoyed James and Ashley being here also. It was a delight to have them in my home.

Megan is a member of the Lee University Children's Chorale. These are picture from their Christmas concert. Megan had a special part as a member of a quartet.

Trip to Nashville to meet Governor Bredesen and accept a flag that has flown over the capital building. State Rep. Kevin Brooks arranged the day for us.

Trick-or-treating with Seaton, Connor, and Kaitlyn Dasher.

For Samantha's 8th birthday, we had a "pretend" sleepover. All her friends came dressed in their pajamas. They drank hot chocolate and watched a movie, and everyone went home before bedtime!

We visited Knoxville Zoo recently and took Aubrey Harrison with us. The kids really had a great day.

Some beautiful children in our front yard on a beautiful day.

Friday was Fall Festival dress-up day at school. Yee haw!

Mrs. Reid's latest school picture.

While camping at Round Mountain, we drove along a windy gravel road and crossed the NC state line. We found Max Patch, a "bald" mountain top that used to be a livestock farm. Now, it's part of the Pisgah National Forest.
